These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website www.shortcoursemasters2025.com and the purchase of registrations and accommodation for the Short Course Masters 2025 swimming event.

By using this website or purchasing a registration or accommodation package, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services provided

The website allows users to:

Purchase event registrations for participation in the Short Course Masters 2025.
Purchase accommodation packages for participants and accompanying persons.

2. Registration process

The participant must complete the registration form with accurate and up-to-date information, including personal identification and contact details.
After confirming the form and add items to cart, the participant will be redirected to a secure payment gateway.
The registration is only considered valid once payment is successfully confirmed.
A confirmation email will be sent to the participant with the registration and payment details.

3. Participation requirements

Participants must be at least 18 years old on the date of the event.
It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they are in suitable physical condition to engage in swimming activities.
The organization reserves the right to request a medical certificate, if deemed necessary.
For relay teams, all members must belong to the same club and must have completed individual registration forms.

4. Prices and payments

All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes.
Payments must be completed through the secure methods available on the platform.
The organization reserves the right to update prices at any time before the registration is finalized.

5. Required documents and photographs

Participants must upload a face photo in PNG, JPG, or JPEG format during registration. This will be used to issue participant credentials and for access control.
A valid Passport or National ID number must be provided for identity verification.
These documents will be stored securely and deleted within 90 days after the event ends, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Participants may cancel their registration and request a full refund until October 10, 2025.
After October 10, 2025, no refunds will be issued, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

7. Event changes or cancellation by the organization

If the event is canceled by the organizers, a full refund will be issued to all participants.
If the event is rescheduled, participants will be given the option to either keep their registration for the new date or request a refund.
The organization will not be responsible for additional costs incurred by participants, such as travel or personal expenses.

8. Liability

The organization is not liable for accidents, injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the event, except where directly caused by the organization’s proven negligence.
Participants are strongly advised to have their own personal accident and health insurance.
The organization is not responsible for personal belongings lost or damaged during the event.
A copy of the release of liability will be sent to your email. Please print it, sign it, and bring it with you to the event.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Short Course Masters 2025 and protected by copyright laws.
Reproduction or distribution without written consent is strictly prohibited.
